A KŌRERO (YARN) Live

For Te Wiki o te Reo or Māori Language Week; Ryan te Raiona (Ryan the Lion in te reo) will be interviewing a whānau (Group, not just a reference for family) to share a range of stories with a focus on "Journeys of te reo" and other particular aspects related to each individual.
We will tackle what I call "truths" as to why te reo Māori is not spoken by all Māori as a lot of New Kiwi's expect and question? There is a part of history of colonisation that will surprise and upset you - and some of our guests are just now learning, some are fluent, simply no one should judge and knowing why will help. Ka mua, Ka muri. (Look back to see the future).
