
Local Data Migration Coordinator
Contract (1 FTE)
Role Description:
Ensures local (business) data migration preparations and execution activities are performed against project timelines
Supports the identification and boarding of Local Data Owners into the project
Aligns/communicates with Data Factory on planning, scope of activities, and status
Coordinates the timely delivery of Golden Files, timely execution of data cleansing, and timely execution of data validations
- Reports status at country level to the local Business and IT leads and escalates when needed
Role Criteria:
- Skilled at relationship building and communication
- Good understanding of (logical) data model and objects
- Experienced in the functional/IS area
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to act as a central point of contact
- Existing connection to the broader BPO community would be advantageous
- Prior experience in data migration is a pre-requisite
Responsibilities/Tasks:
Accountable for the integrity of all master and transactional related data migration activities of the Release for a country, ensuring integration between the multiple projects requirements into a consolidated delivery
Coordination of the Data deliverables
Data migration design input (e.g. translation tables)
Golden File delivery
Data Validation
Local business input into defect resolution of conversion defects
Data Cleansing
Coordination of resources working on data activities
Internal & external communication
Lessons Learned identification & Implementation
- Monitors the local cutover tasks for data
Communication, Coordination and Integration with the Data Factory, and other Local Data Migration Coordinators for the release as required
